Summary
Droopy is a modular room dividing system made from hand-cut, 36 inch wide industrial rubber strips. The project made its debut at The Southern Design Concern’s Made show during the 2011 Modern Atlanta design symposium.
Stefán and I outlined our design parameters as the following: (a.) a desire to alter the line of sight within the exhibition space, (b.) a desire to manipulate (deny/permit) light into the exhibition space, and (c.) a desire to let a drip, droppy, droopy visual effect drive the form.
